Red Bull has signed a deal with Sri Lanka Cricket to become their Official Energy Drink partner. It is a long-term deal that will start with immediate effect. Through this partnership, Red Bull will help the Athletes with their on-field performance and also harness their brand image in Sri Lanka.
Red Bull has its presence in more than 180 countries, with its are commitment of working together with sports and enhancing the performance of the Athletes. The brand currently has 830 plus athletes associated across 200 different sports. Red Bull has been investing in cricket since the Campus Cricket initiative in 2012.
Brendon Kuruppu, Director at Red Bull Campus Cricket and former Sri Lanka cricketer said, “I’m happy a world-renowned brand Red Bull is partnering to strengthen the arm of Sri Lanka Cricket. Cricket is all about sponsorship and I’m sure this sponsorship will grow and that Red Bull will take this opportunity to harness their brand.”
The announcement event was graced by officials of SLC, current players, and representatives of Red Bull in Sri Lanka.
