The Premier League club, Aston Villa FC, have announced a partnership with the global energy drink giant, Red Bull, naming the Austrian brand as the official energy drink partner for both its men’s and women’s teams.
Under the agreement, Red Bull branding will feature prominently across Villa Park — including LED perimeter boards, concourse areas, and the club’s Bodymoor Heath training complex. While financial details and contract length have not been disclosed, the deal is positioned as a major step in Villa’s ongoing commercial expansion and performance strategy.
The collaboration extends beyond brand exposure. Red Bull will contribute its expertise in sports science to Villa’s performance programmes, with a particular focus on athlete recovery and optimisation. Fans can also expect joint activations, exclusive competitions, and behind-the-scenes content aimed at deepening supporter engagement.
Commenting on the occasion, Adrian Filby, Chief Commercial Officer at Aston Villa, said, “We are delighted that another huge, global brand has joined our family of partners. Red Bull’s global outlook chimes with our own ambitions for growth, and we are thrilled that we now have the opportunity to work with them to not only benefit our teams on the park and the training pitch but also to provide our supporters with unique experiences.”
The deal further cements Red Bull’s presence in the world of football, where it already holds partnerships with Inter Miami, Atlético de Madrid, Fulham FC, FC Goa, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, West Ham United, Torino FC and more.
Aston Villa, competing in both domestic and European competitions this season, has been aggressively building its commercial portfolio in 2025, securing deals with Guinness, Xapo Bank, Oak View Group, Legends, and Chiliz.
Aston Villa capped the 2024–25 season with a 6th-place Premier League finish, UEFA Europa League qualification, and a strong UEFA Champions League debut. Ollie Watkins broke the club’s Premier League scoring record, Youri Tielemans set a league passing record, and Morgan Rogers shone as Young Player of the Season. The 2025–26 campaign kicks off at home to Newcastle United on August 16, followed by early tests against Brentford and Crystal Palace, as Villa aim to build on last season’s momentum.
