Real Madrid‘s teenage sensation, Endrick, has inked a lucrative deal with the energy drink giant, Red Bull.
The 18-year-old Brazilian striker, already a global phenomenon, has become the face of the iconic brand in a multi-year partnership.
The agreement has solidified Endrick’s status as a rising superstar, extending his influence beyond the football pitch. As a brand ambassador, the young prodigy will collaborate with Red Bull on a variety of marketing initiatives and campaigns designed to captivate a global audience.
Endrick, who last week was unveiled as Real’s latest player, told Reuters, “I was thrilled when I received their invitation and we met soon after to talk about what we could do together. Red Bull was already part of my day-to-day life and I’m very happy to be part of this team, which includes several athletes I admire a lot. To be able to be part of this family, in football, is to bring together everything I like.”
Fabio Wolff, Managing Partner of Wolff Sports, who negotiated the deal, emphasized the strategic nature of the partnership. “[The Red Bull deal] will focus on drawing and engaging new and existing audiences through multimedia storytelling about Endrick’s life path, with is an extraordinary one,” told Reuters.
Red Bull has a proven track record of partnering with high-profile athletes, and the collaboration with Endrick aligns perfectly with the company’s strategy of investing in young talent. The partnership marks another significant milestone in Endrick’s meteoric rise to fame, following collaborations with Disney, New Balance, and Panini.
Real Madrid secured the services of the prodigious talent in a deal worth over €60 million from Palmeiras in 2022. Due to FIFA regulations, the young star had to wait until his 18th birthday to join the Spanish giants.
