The association has been inked for three more seasons until 2025.
Following this development, the German men’s brand looks forward to enhancing its digital activities with Real Madrid, curating “more appealing” content for the youth and fans via a new medium revolving around the values of the two parties involved.
The agreement, which is in its 10th year, currently covers more than 70 countries.
Speaking on the partnership, Real Madrid’s Director of Institutional Relations, Emilio Butragueño, commented, “Our players very much enjoyed the partnership with Nivea Men, since these products are part of their daily routine. We’re looking forward to strengthening our partnership even more over the coming seasons.
“It brings together two champions with a global reach. We will take an even more digital approach in the future, exploring new channels and learning from each other. We want to bring the skincare experience to all generations on and off the field at the same time,” Grita Loebsack added
Commenting on the extension of the association, Oswald Barckhahn, said, I’m extremely pleased that our successful partnership with Real Madrid will continue. Around the world, 55% of men are football fans which makes it the most popular sport in many of our key markets. This partnership provides a unique opportunity for Nivea Men to reach out to our target group with our expertise in grooming and skincare”.
