Real Madrid and adidas have extended their landmark partnership through 2034, securing the future of one of the most successful and enduring commercial relationships in global sport.

The renewal will see adidas continue as the club’s official kit supplier across its men’s and women’s football teams, academy structure and basketball division, extending a collaboration that began in 1980 and has become a cornerstone of both organisations’ global growth.

The agreement further strengthens a partnership that has helped establish Real Madrid as one of the world’s most valuable sports brands while cementing adidas’ position at the heart of elite football. Over more than four decades, the relationship has delivered some of the sport’s most iconic kits and accompanied one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.

Since formalising their partnership in 1980, Real Madrid have won eight UEFA Champions League titles while wearing adidas, reinforcing the connection between two brands synonymous with excellence, performance and global appeal.

Florentino Pérez, President of Real Madrid, said, “This agreement we seal today is the most important in the history of football. The strategic alliance between Real Madrid and adidas has helped us during these three decades to experience one of the most wonderful periods in our history. It has also served to continue nurturing this universal feeling that is madridismo.”

Bjørn Gulden, CEO of adidas, added, “This is one of the longest and most successful partnerships in sports. Real Madrid is a very special club with an impressive history. I am extremely proud that the three stripes continue to be part of this extraordinary success story. We look forward to continuing to create the best products for the team, helping them perform at the highest level, and offering fans around the world attractive lifestyle products that allow them to show their passion and support for the club, both in the stadiums and on the streets.”

Beyond its sporting achievements, the agreement reinforces Real Madrid’s commercial leadership and provides adidas with continued access to one of football’s largest global fanbases. As both organisations look toward the next decade, the renewal ensures that one of sport’s most iconic brand alliances remains firmly in place.
