The LALIGA club, Real Betis Balompié have announced a two-year partnership with Trainline, Europe’s leading train travel app.
The agreement sees the train ticket booking platform’s logo displayed on the back of jerseys of the men’s and women’s first teams and the futsal squad. This collaboration extends until June 30, 2026.
Beyond the sponsorship, Los Mejores and the train ticket booking service share a commitment to environmental sustainability. Together, they will promote the benefits of rail travel and undertake joint initiatives to encourage fans and the public to choose greener transportation options.
Commenting on the partnership, Jody Ford, CEO of Trainline, said, “Real Betis and Trainline make a great team. We are both driven by a mission of sustainability and want to shake up how people think about it. Seville is one of the great rail centres in Europe and this multi-year collaboration will spotlight the low-carbon choice of rail travel to Spanish football fans and beyond.”
Ramón Alarcón, CEO of Real Betis, expressed, “For us, it is very important to be linked to brands that operate globally, have such a high reputation in their sector, and align with the sustainability aspirations of the Club. We are talking about one of the most used digital platforms to find the best possible rail and coach options, with different routes, price ranges, and even the possibility to choose less polluting trips. It is of great pride that Trainline accompanies us for these two years and that it is part of our team during match days.”

With a focus on real-time information and a wide range of options, the rail travel app aims to simplify and encourage sustainable travel choices.
