Rario joins Legends League Cricket as NFT partner

Rario becomes a valuable addition to the lucrative sponsorship portfolio of Legends League Cricket.

The highly anticipated T20 cricket competition, Legends League Cricket (LLC), has teamed up with the officially licensed cricket NFTs platform, Rario.

In this association, Rario has been named as the official NFT partner. 

The unveiling of the collaboration was done by the competition’s organisers through social media handles, with the caption, “We are elated to announce @rariohq as the official NFT Partner of #LegendsLeagueCricket.”

Rario becomes a valuable addition to the lucrative sponsorship portfolio of Legends League Cricket, which consists of brands like Super4, Mera Hoardings, BookMyShow, Khushii Foundation and Skyexch.com. The sports broadcasting baron, Star Sports has been named as the official broadcast partner of the tournament.  

The upcoming edition will kick off on September 16 and the final will be played on October 5. Adani GroupGMR GroupManipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG) and LNJ Bhilwara Group have joined the tournament as franchise partners.

Virender Sehwag (Gujarat Giants), Gautam Gambhir (India Capitals), Harbhajan Singh (Manipal Tigers) and Irfan Pathan (Bhilwara Kings) are captains of their respective teams. 

Lucknow, New Delhi, Jodhpur, Cuttack, and Kolkata are the five venues out of six for the upcoming season. The venue for the playoffs is yet to be announced. 

The NFT platform also inked a partnership with the competition ahead of its first season, which took place earlier this year in January. The inaugural season of LLC only had three teams. 

Rario, which allows fans of the sport to own and trade some of the renowned licensed cricket moments digitally, has partnered up with some of the iconic cricket entities and players – Cricket Australia (CA), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Quinton De Kock, Venkatesh Iyer, Mohammed Siraj, Ishant Sharma, Virender SehwagRashid Khan, Prithvi Shaw, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Lanka Premier League (LPL) and Rishabh Pant
