Rangers Football Club signs sponsorship deal with Cadbury

Rangers FC becomes the latest football club in the United Kingdom to partner with Cadbury. This deal will make Cadbury the snacking partner of the Scottish club. The Mondelez International-owned chocolate brand Cadbury has been partnering with various clubs across the UK since the start of the 2020/21 campaign.

Along with being the snacking partner of Rangers FC, Cadbury will also focus on working together with the charity unit of the football club. The chocolate brand is planning to introduce offers to fans that cannot see games in the stadium due to the pandemic. The money raised from this offer is likely to be donated to charities.

Cadbury has been also working towards helping the local communities through these types of deals with the football clubs. They have currently signed deals with big clubs such as Leeds United, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Rangers.

As part of this deal, Cadbury is likely to feature at Ibrox Stadium when Rangers play home games in different competitions. It is a goodwill partnership that will benefit fans, Cadbury, communities, and the football club.

Along with increasing commercial strength, Rangers FC is also enjoying a fine start to the campaign under the leadership of Steven Gerrard. The Scottish club is also progressing well in the Europa League.

In mid-October, Gerrard’s men clinched an important victory against title rivals Celtic. After 13 gameweeks, Rangers sit at the top of the table with a lead of nine points over Celtic. Success on the pitch will further boost Rangers’ bid to become a commercial powerhouse in Scotland.
