Rangers, EA Sports land a multi-year association

Throughout the duration of the partnership, EA Sports will be extensively featured across the team's home stadium.

The Scottish Premiership team, Rangers FC have signed a new association with Electronic Arts (EA) Sports.

This development will see Rangers licence their IP, including the Ibrox Stadium, to be visible in FIFA 23 title game. The partnership also included the EA Sports FC rebrand in 2023. Following this agreement, EA Sports has been named as the official partner of the club. Rangers will be launching several esports initiatives in the following months.

Throughout the duration of the partnership, EA Sports will be extensively featured across the team’s home stadium. The video games developer will also be visible in branded content across the official social media handles of the team.

James Bisgrove, Commercial and Marketing Director at Rangers, said, “This is a truly exciting partnership for the club, and I think it speaks volumes for the standing Rangers has on the international stage that such a recognisable brand like EA Sports FIFA were so eager to enter into a partnership with the club.

“The world of esports is growing at unprecedented levels, and this partnership will allow us to fully enter this space with a meaningful strategy and strong partner in the sector.”

James Salmon, Marketing Director at EA Sports FIFA, added, “We’re thrilled to have Rangers join the EA Sports family. This partnership will enable us to continue to deliver authentic and comprehensive interactive football experiences to Rangers fans in FIFA 23 and beyond.”
