Afghanistan and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) player Rahmanullah Gurbaz has signed with The Lettuce Co., the Indian talent management firm, founded by Piyush Jain.

Jain will represent Gurbaz solely in all global commercial, branding, and appearance engagements under this new relationship.

Gurbaz has quickly gained popularity among fans for his bold batting and mesmerising on-field intensity. His decision to work with an Indian management demonstrates a clear vision: to expand his commercial footprint in the world’s largest cricket market. With his rising popularity in India and foreign leagues, this effort represents a purposeful pivot towards establishing a strong off-field character based on youth-centric sports, fashion, and lifestyle affiliations.

On the deal, Rahmanullah Gurbaz said, “I call Kolkata my second home for a reason. My connection with India is quite rooted so getting associated with an Indian management to represent me globally was the best option. I could see spark in Piyush and his way of working, so joining hands has been a great decision. I am looking forward to all the great work we do together.Whilst talking about KKR and my time here in India, apart from the team mates, I love spending time with our Franchise owner Shahrukh Khan. He is my snooker partner, we play the game together to de-stress before our matches. I also teach SRK pashto language, I am sure, my association with KKR will make him a pro in my language very soon.”
