Qatar Airways, the national carrier of the State of Qatar, has renewed its multi-year partnership with Al Sadd Sports Club, reaffirming its status as the club’s official jersey sponsor and deepening its investment in Qatari sport.

The extended agreement builds on a relationship that began in 2018, ensuring the airline’s logo will continue to feature prominently on Al Sadd’s first-team jerseys across all domestic and international competitions.

As one of Qatar and Asia’s most decorated football clubs, Al Sadd stands to benefit from the airline’s global reach and brand influence, while Qatar Airways secures sustained visibility across key markets in the Middle East and beyond.

Commenting on the renewal, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said, “We are delighted to renew our partnership with Al Sadd Sports Club, a team that holds a special place in the hearts of many in Qatar. Our renewed collaboration reflects our shared commitment to excellence, community, and nurturing the future generation of talent. Together, we continue to support Qatar’s growing legacy as a global sports hub.”

Al Sadd Sports Club Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Turki Al-Ali, added, “We express our great happiness in renewing the partnership with Qatar Airways. We take pride in the continuation of this partnership and look forward to achieving more successes and accomplishments together in the coming period.”

The renewal aligns with Qatar Airways’ broader sports sponsorship strategy, which spans some of the world’s most high-profile properties. These include partnerships with FIFA, the UEFA Champions League and national team competitions, Formula 1, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), FC Internazionale Milano, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), MotoGP, the IRONMAN Triathlon Series, and multiple other disciplines including Australian football, equestrian, motor racing, padel, squash, and tennis.

By aligning with premier sports teams and events, Qatar Airways continues to position both itself and the nation as key players on the global sports stage—supporting Qatar’s National Vision 2030 and the country’s ambition to be recognised as an international hub for sporting excellence.

With the new football season approaching, the partnership renewal is expected to deepen fan engagement, elevate brand visibility, and contribute to the sustained growth of Qatar’s sports industry—cementing the synergy between the country’s leading airline and one of its most iconic clubs.
