PVR Cinemas join forces with Visa to organise Qatar 2022 screenings at selected venues

Both PVR and Visa will invite their clients to the live screenings of these matches, which will be held solely at these chosen PVR Cinemas.

PVR Cinemas, India’s largest and most esteemed film exhibition corporation, has formed an exclusive collaboration with Visa, FIFA’s official payments technology partner, to organise ‘FIFA World Cup 2022 Viewing Parties’ throughout 11 properties in eight cities.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 Viewing Parties association encompasses transforming 11 movie theatres in eight cities into Visa FIFA World Cup 2022 Hubs and showcasing two key matches live on screen – the third-place quarters and Finals on December 17 & 18, respectively. Both PVR and Visa will invite their clients to the live screenings of these matches, which will be held solely at these chosen PVR Cinemas.

To add to the excitement, an installation/gaming zone has already been set up outside the cinema lobby for football fans and cinemagoers to play at the goalposts with official FIFA World Cup 2022 footballs on weekends all across the duration of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Guests can also witness official FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 merchandise on a merchandise wall, take pictures with creative cut-out standees, and enter a competition to earn exclusive FIFA merchandise as well as free tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2022 Viewing Party at PVR.

PVR will also display live FIFA World Cup 2022 games in 23 cinemas throughout 11 cities, enabling football individuals of all ages to book tickets to see their favourite teams in action on the big screen.
