The Prime Volleyball League (PVL) has introduced a dedicated Kannada feed for the YouTube livestream of its ongoing fourth edition, expanding its regional language coverage and deepening engagement with fans across Karnataka.
The new feed, which went live on October 11, makes Kannada the sixth language available for PVL broadcasts, alongside English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
The initiative is designed to strengthen the league’s connection with Kannada-speaking audiences, particularly supporters of Bengaluru Torpedoes, as volleyball continues to gain momentum across South India.
Commenting on the development, Yashwanth Biyyala, Co-owner and Director, Bengaluru Torpedoes, said, “The support we receive from Karnataka is immense, and providing the livestream in our local language is a sincere effort to engage more deeply with our loyal fans. All matches of PVL Season 4 are being held at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad from October 2 to 26, 2025. The tournament features ten franchises, with live coverage on Sony Sports Network channels across the Indian subcontinent and global streaming on the league’s official YouTube channel, RR Kabel Prime Volleyball League powered by Scapia.
The YouTube channel offers a comprehensive viewing experience, including live matches, highlights, recaps, behind-the-scenes content, and other exclusive programming, aimed at creating richer forms of storytelling and fan interaction.
In tonight’s fixture, on October 13, Bengaluru Torpedoes face Chennai Blitz. Bengaluru currently stands second on the league table with three wins from three games, while Chennai sits seventh with two victories from three matches.
The introduction of the Kannada feed is expected to further boost PVL’s online viewership and regional engagement, reinforcing the league’s ambition to make volleyball one of India’s most accessible and community-driven professional sports.
