Puma teams up with Gen.G to become the official jersey partner

Puma will become the official jersey sponsor and the jersey partner of Gen.G’s professional teams.

Gen.G Esports being a professional US-based esports organization that is valued at a whopping $185 million recently announced their partnership deal extension with Puma.

As part of the deal, Puma will become the official jersey sponsor and the jersey partner of Gen.G’s professional teams who are very popularly known for playing games such as League of Legends.

The deal will also include Gen G’s Valorant players only in the North American region. The deal was originally struck back in June 2020 which saw Gen.G and Puma only collaborate in South Korea and the extension of the deal which has been signed on Monday (26th June 2021) sees both the involved parties expand globally with partnering even in the North American region.

Puma and Gen.G both have been experiencing major benefits ever since the deal was signed last year, and with the expansion of the deal globally, Gen.G and Puma’s global outreach will increase drastically and will be good for both parties involved.

The CMO of the professional esports organisation, Gina Chung Lee said that “Over the last year, Puma has been an incredible brand partner, We are thrilled to expand globally – from their support of our pro teams to their partnership in initiatives like our Gen.G Foundation, we are proud to continue the story with our creators and teams in North America.”
