Multan Sultans, one of the teams of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), started the 2023 season on a losing note in a nerve-racking encounter against Lahore Qalandars and were defeated by the latter by one run. The Mohammad Rizwan-led team will be trying to bounce back against Quetta Gladiators tonight.
The Sultans have performed significantly well in the last three seasons. They qualified for the playoffs in 2020, lifted the title for the first time in 2021, and ended the 2022 campaign as the runners-up.
