The most awaited seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is in action now with two epic matches already concluded. Multan Sultans have started their conquest for retaining their title with a great win over the 2020 titleholder, Karachi Kings.
The Mohammad Rizwan-led team defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 47 runs to claim the 2021 season. The franchise is owned by the industrialist Alamgir Khan Tareen of the Multan consortium.
While performing outstandingly on the cricket field, the team has also performed quite efficiently in the commercial market. Ahead of the season, the franchise has roped in numerous strong sponsors under its belt to enhance the brand value and outreach.
Earlier in the month, the team partnered with Mukhtar A. Sheikh Hospital, appointing the institute as the Official Hospital and Welfare Sponsor. Followed by this, the team brought in sports retailer brand, AJ Sports on board as the Official Apparel and Equipment Partner. Later on, the multinational oil and gas company, Shell joined the team as the Official Fueling Partner.
In addition to such notable brands, Multan Sultans also penned down sponsorship deals with the technological firm, Mercantile Pakistan and the online marketplace, Ezeefi to make them the Official Partners. Next in line to hold ties with the popular team was the athletic brand, NAM Sports, which became the Official Merchandise Partner for the seventh edition.
Apart from all the above-mentioned brands, the franchise held associations with some prominent firms in Pakistan to further elate their brand portfolio. The Multan-based team partnered with the digital teaching platform, Noon Pakistan and announced the firm as the Official Online Education Partner.
With this, the defending championships also teamed with up Nishan-E-Haider to make them the Official Builders and Developers Sponsor while adding the clothing brand, Chase Value as the Official Fashion Partner.
