Priority Pass, the world’s largest independent airport lounge access programme, has expanded its partnership with Chennai Bulls, strengthening its commitment to supporting emerging rugby talent through enhanced travel experiences and international exposure opportunities.

Owned and operated by Collinson International, Priority Pass will continue as the official airport lounge partner for Chennai Bulls Selects squad as they compete at the prestigious Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC) 10s, one of the most recognised invitational tournaments in global rugby.

The Bulls Selects initiative forms a key pillar of the franchise’s long-term player development strategy, offering aspiring Indian and international players opportunities to compete in high-performance environments and gain valuable global exposure. The programme is designed to build structured pathways for emerging athletes while contributing to the professionalisation of rugby in India.

As part of the expanded agreement, Priority Pass will provide players and support staff with access to its global network of airport lounges, helping optimise rest, recovery and preparation during international travel. With elite athletes increasingly operating across demanding global schedules, performance-focused travel environments are becoming an important component of competitive readiness.

Commenting on the development, Todd Handcock, Global Chief Commercial Officer and Asia Pacific Executive Chair at Collinson International, said, “As rugby continues to establish itself as a premier sport in India, we are proud to support the Chennai Bulls in their wider ambition to create more avenues for progression for young players across the country, helping to open doors for emerging and aspiring talent who may otherwise not have direct access and opportunities to develop in the sport. We are delighted to expand our partnership to provide the Chennai Bulls Selects team with access to Priority Pass airport lounges and travel experiences in Hong Kong as they participate in the HKFC10s, helping them rest better, arrive refreshed and perform at their best. We look forward to deepening our partnership with Chennai Bulls and continuing our support as they build a stronger and more inclusive rugby ecosystem in India.”

Ben Gollings, Head Coach of Chennai Bulls, added, “Bringing the Chennai Bulls Selects team to compete in Hong Kong is a proud moment for everyone involved in the franchise. These tournaments represent an important platform for our players to test themselves against top international talent. The continued support from Priority Pass will enhance the travel experience for our teams, giving players a place to relax and recharge so they are ready to deliver their best performance. It also strengthens our ambition to build winning teams and create meaningful opportunities for the younger generation in India to grow through sport.”

Chennai Bulls were crowned champions of the inaugural Rugby Premier League season, underlining the franchise’s growing influence in shaping the sport’s domestic ecosystem. The upcoming edition is scheduled to take place at the Gachibowli Stadium from June 16 to June 28, 2026, reinforcing the league’s ambition to accelerate the growth of professional rugby in India.

The expanded collaboration builds on a relationship first established in 2025 and reflects increasing commercial momentum behind rugby’s development in India, as franchise-led initiatives continue to combine international exposure pathways with brand-backed performance support structures.
