The multinational OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video has announced Australian cricket star Usman Khawaja as the official ambassador for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, slated to be held in the West Indies and the United States in June.
Khawaja has enjoyed an outstanding international career in all forms of cricket. The current ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year will give Prime members and cricket devotees special insight and analysis of the event on Prime Video’s social media channels during significant matches during what is expected to be the biggest ICC T20 World Cup ever. Moreover, he’ll also appear in Prime Video’s advertising campaign, which will commence on May 18.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will get underway on June 1 for fans worldwide and June 2 for Australian fans as the United States hosts World Cup Cricket for the first time. June 20 marks the commencement of the Super Eight, while June 30 in Barbados will see the crowning of the ICC Men’s T20 WC winners. Fans in Australia will be able to watch all of the major moments, big hits, and big wickets live on Prime Video.
