Premier League: Everton signs deal with Horizm

Digital inventory management company Horizm has added Premier League club Everton to its financial portfolio. The company will support the club’s digital performance. Through this deal, the Toffees will use Horizm’s AI-powered platform to improve digital performances and understand digital assets’ value. This could be beneficial as the club can use this to unlock benefits from new and existing deals.

Everton is not the only English side to strike a deal with Horizm as Chelsea, Arsenal, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Watford are also working with the company. The company also has clients outside England in Europe as Real Madrid, Juventus, Inter Milan, Olympique Lyon, and Benfica are also a part of the company’s list of sponsors in order to provide sports right holders with digital solutions for managing and selling digital inventory.

Head of partnerships at Everton, Mark Rollings said, “Through working with Horizm, we can continue to improve our performance across different channels, providing more content, most access and better value for both our fans and our partners and, from a commercial perspective, we can use the digital tools to identity new revenue opportunities.”

Horizm recently partnered up with Arsenal. It will help North London club in identifying new digital streams and maximize income from digital assets. Outside of football, Hozirm also boasts deals with English rugby union club Saracens, IPL side Delhi Capitals, International Hockey Federation (IHF), International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), and Australian Open tennis grand slam.

Everton enjoyed a good start to Premier League last season, but eventually finished tenth this season with 59 points. However, the project at Everton came to a halt when Carlo Ancelotti left the club at the end of the season for La Liga giants Real Madrid after just one season in charge. The Merseyside club is reportedly close to appointing former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez as the new head coach.
