The handball league in India, Premier Handball League (PHL) has announced a partnership with the Indian private medical institution, Manipal Hospitals.
Following the deal, Manipal Hospitals has been named the official medical partner of the PHL 2023.
The tournament also used its social media handles to convey its brand-new alliance, with the caption, “Proud to announce @manipalhospitals as our Medical Partner for the inaugural season of Premier Handball League. Stay tuned for a different ball game“.

Manipal Hospitals is an Indian multi-speciality hospital chain founded in 1953 by T.M.A Pai and located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. With a network of 28 hospitals, it is India’s second-largest healthcare provider.
The much-anticipated handball league began yesterday at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur, with Rajasthan Patriots defeating Maharashtra Ironmen 28-27 in the first game, and Telugu Talons defeating Garvit Gujarat 39-32 in the second.
