Polymarket has continued its expansion across the North American sports landscape after being named the official prediction market partner of the New York Yankees, adding one of Major League Baseball‘s most valuable and recognisable franchises to its growing portfolio of sports partnerships.

The multi-faceted agreement will provide Polymarket with prominent brand visibility throughout Yankee Stadium, including LED signage and premium behind-home-plate placements during game broadcasts. The partnership will also feature fan engagement initiatives designed to strengthen Polymarket’s presence among one of baseball’s largest and most passionate fan bases.

The collaboration builds on Polymarket’s broader commercial momentum in professional sports. Earlier this year, the company became Serie A‘s official partner in the United States.

For the Yankees, the agreement reflects the continued emergence of prediction markets as a new sponsorship category within the sports industry. As organisations seek innovative ways to engage digitally connected audiences, prediction market platforms are increasingly complementing traditional betting, media and technology partners within commercial portfolios.

Michael Tusiani, New York Yankees Senior Vice President, Partnerships, said, “We are excited to begin a relationship with Polymarket — Major League Baseball’s prediction market partner. Through signage and fan experience opportunities, we look forward to elevating Polymarket’s brand awareness both at Yankee Stadium and across our fan base.”

Ari Borod, President of Sports Business Development at Polymarket, added, “We are proud to become a partner of one of the most iconic teams, not just in baseball, but in all of sports. Yankees fans are among the most passionate in sports, and Yankee Stadium is a natural home for Polymarket, where the questions driving our markets come to life throughout the season.”

The partnership also underscores the rapid convergence of sports, technology and financial innovation. Unlike conventional sportsbooks, prediction market platforms operate under the oversight of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), positioning them as a distinct form of fan participation while remaining subject to an evolving regulatory landscape.

By aligning with one of baseball’s most iconic franchises, Polymarket further strengthens its position within professional sports while reinforcing the growing commercial relevance of prediction markets as teams continue to explore new avenues for fan engagement and sponsorship growth.
