Haryana Steelers, a franchise in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), have developed a sponsorship extension with India’s leading green cement company, JSW Cement.
The brand has been a team sponsor for the last two seasons and will continue to do so for the third year in a row as principal partner. JSW Cement, a crucial partner in the Steelers’ journey, demonstrated its continuous commitment to fostering sports excellence and strengthened its relationship with one of India’s most exciting kabaddi teams by attending the event.
The news with JSW Cement came ahead of the team’s new jersey launch event. Under the extended agreement, the JSW Cement emblem will be prominently displayed on the front of the Haryana Steelers’ playing uniforms, providing strong exposure both on and off the kabaddi mat. This strategic positioning demonstrates the brand’s dedication to the franchise’s expansion and fan involvement.
Gurminder Singh, Head of Marketing, JSW Cement, said, “JSW Cement is delighted to continue its association with the Haryana Steelers as their Principal Partner for the third consecutive year. The energy and dedication of the team are a powerful reflection of our brand’s character and spirit. As the Steelers take to the mat to defend their title, we wish them the best for their upcoming season.”
Divyanshu Singh, CEO, Haryana Steelers and JSW Sports, said, “At JSW Sports, we are focused on building teams that embody resilience, hard work, and a winning spirit; values the Steelers have consistently displayed. With the continued support of partners like JSW Cement, and the passion of our fans, we are confident the team will deliver yet another electrifying season as the defending champions.”
Before this deal, the side announced Frido, India’s leading D2C ergonomic brand, as official comfort partner for the upcoming season.
Haryana Steelers are defending champions in PKL 2025 and have retained important players including skipper Jaideep Dahiya and vice-captain Rahul Sethpal. They have added top raider Naveen Kumar for INR 1.2 crore. Under head coach Manpreet Singh, the squad combines experience and young in pursuit of back-to-back titles. With a balanced lineup, increased depth, and significant sponsorship support from JSW Cement, the side will begin its season against Bengal Warriors on August 31, seeking to continue its dominance.
