The Major League Baseball (MLB) team, Philadelphia Phillies have inked a sponsorship deal with Independence Blue Cross (IBX), a local health insurance firm.
As part of the deal, the brand has become the team’s first jersey patch sponsor. The renowned IBX logo will be displayed on the sleeve of each Phillies team jersey (home, away, and City Connect). Furthermore, the patch will also appear on the team’s Spring Training and postseason uniforms.

Notably, the unit has also become the 22nd MLB team to feature a sponsorship patch on its jerseys.

In June 2022, the Phillies chose Two Circles, a worldwide digital-focused sports firm, to market the jersey patch sponsorship. This long-term arrangement extends the two organisations’ decades-long connection, with IBX broadening its position as the team’s official health insurance partner while also becoming the team’s first official jersey patch sponsor.
The health company is also a jersey patch sponsor of Philadelphia Flyers, an National Hockey League (NHL) team.
