The PGA Tour has signed a multi-year deal with FanDuel Sportsbook for content and marketing. It has also been designated as ‘Official Betting operator’ of the organization.
As per the deal, FanDuel has secured the rights in USA to use PGA Tour marks and rights to advertise through various partner platforms.
FanDuel also has content and video rights which can be used to create pre-game and post-game betting programmes, and also circulate highlights to the users who’ve placed bets in the game.
Additonally, PGA tour and FanDuel will collaborate to deliver content to fans via PGA Tour website and PGA Tour mobile app.
FanDuel has becomes the Tour’s fourth official betting operator, following deals with PointsBet, DraftKings and BetMGM. Last year, PGA Tour signed with IMG Arena, the sports betting unit of IMG Agency.
PGA Tour also works with Genius sports in order to avoid betting related corruption from its competitions.
