The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) has expanded its commercial partnership portfolio after announcing Select Car Leasing as the official partner of the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month awards in a new multi-year agreement running until the end of the 2027-28 season.
The partnership strengthens an existing relationship between the two organisations that began in 2020 and will see Select Car Leasing integrated across the PFA’s digital and social media activations tied to the monthly fan-voted awards programme.
As part of the agreement, the UK-based leasing company will feature prominently across fan engagement campaigns, recognising standout performances from players competing in the Premier League, English Football League, Women’s Super League and WSL2.

The PFA Fans’ Player of the Month awards have become one of the organisation’s most visible supporter-focused initiatives, allowing fans to directly participate in selecting top-performing players throughout the domestic football season. Nominees are shortlisted through a football panel before supporters cast their votes online.
The agreement highlights the growing commercial value of fan-engagement assets within football, as brands increasingly target digital-first sponsorship opportunities that provide year-round visibility and direct interaction with supporters across multiple competitions.
