The Pakistan Super League team, Peshawar Zalmi has renewed its association with Haier Pakistan for the seventh season, which is slated to begin on January 27. Haier Pakistan has been signed as the main sponsor of Peshawar Zalmi for the fifth year in a row.
The Chinese multinational company has been the primary sponsor of Peshawar Zalmi since 2018. Both the entities were present at Haier’s annual brand seminar at a local hotel in Lahore, where the agreement was inked.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Peshawar Zalmi President, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mr Feng, CEO of Haier Pakistan. Wahab Riaz, the captain of Peshawar Zalmi, was also present at the event.
On the completion of a five-year partnership between Peshawar Zalmi and Haier Pakistan, Wahab Riaz presented Mr Feng with a commemorative shield.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has signed a momentous agreement with the consortium of ARY and PTV for the upcoming two editions of PSL. Moreover, Daraz has bagged the digital media rights of the PSL for the next two seasons.
The defending champions, Multan Sultans will take on the winners of the 2020 edition, Karachi Kings in the season opener.
