The Pakistan Super League (PSL) outfit, Peshawar Zalmi has extended its association with Malam Jabba Ski Resort as the team’s tourism partner of the ongoing seventh season of the competition.
The initial partnership deal was signed ahead of the sixth season of the PSL. The announcement of the renewal was done by both the parties involved on their respective social media handles. Peshawar Zalmi posted a video on its official Instagram handle with the caption, “Announcing Malam Jabba Ski Resort as Peshawar Zalmi’s Official Tourism Partner for HBLPSL7”
The Malam Jabba Ski Resort is situated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The MJ Ski Resort is a multipurpose recreational spot, which is also perfect for adventure enthusiasts who crave some excitement and thrill.
The Peshawar-based team has done immensely well in the sponsorship field. Ahead of the commencement of PSL, Peshawar Zalmi has inked a deal with Nova City, MG Motors, FM 91 and Red Bull. The 2017 PSL champions renewed their association with Haier and also re-appointed the Pakistani actress Mahira Khan as the brand ambassador.
The Shoaib Malik-led team won the 2017 edition of the competition and will aim to carry out similar performances this year too. In the previous edition, the Peshawar team finished third with 10 points.
Peshawar Zalmi commenced its PSL 7 campaign on Friday, January 28 against Quetta Gladiators with a comprehensive five-wicket victory. Clinical performances from the skipper and Hussain Talat helped the team to complete the competitive chase.
The team will be seen next in action against Islamabad United on Sunday, January 30 at 2:30 PM IST in Karachi.
