PCB join forces with TVCONAL to enhance PSL experience

This partnership will enable TVCONAL to provide content to new cricket enthusiasts.

The governing body of cricket in Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has signed a partnership with the global AI unit, Television Content Analytics (TVCONAL). Through this association, the machine learning company will deliver exclusive match and player analytics for every live game in HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022.

This partnership will enable TVCONAL to provide content to new cricket enthusiasts by showcasing performance statistics and novel analytics. The data include player evaluation measures, predictive insights on game outcomes, pitch conditions, and individual performance metrics. The agency will utilize its world-class artificial intelligence and machine learning setup to develop data points that narrate the story of the game in real-time, ball by ball.

Chief Operating Officer at PCB, Salman Naseer gave his statements on the partnership which said, “We are striving hard to improve the experience of fans following the HBL PSL 7 in their TV lounges. In this regard, the partnership with TVCONAL will go a long way in improving and enhancing the fan experience. Through TVCONAL, the fans will get advanced and better insight into the players statistics and match situations, which will keep them connected and involved in the tournament that will in turn result in engaging debate and discussions over the social media platforms.”

The Managing Director at TVCONAL, Dr. Masoumeh Izadi, also conveyed his thoughts about the deal and said, “We are excited to bring fans new insights and enhanced player and game istatistics on PSL, Pakistan’s most loved sport and league. We are looking forward to picking out the most interesting data points and entertaining fans through deep analytics and storytelling.”

He further added, “This association is a real step forward for us as we know the population of Pakistan love cricket and we can’t wait to showcase what we do to fans in the region and also a worldwide audience.”
