ARY Communications has secured live-streaming licenses in Pakistan from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the three one-day internationals against West Indies and seven T20Is against England following a fair and honest bidding procedure.
The three ODIs will be staged in Multan on June 8, 10, and 12 respectively, with the T20I schedule to be declared later.
In Pakistan, the Middle East, North America, and Europe, ARY Digital is a prominent subscription broadcasting company. The ARY Group of Companies is a Dubai-based parent corporation formed by Abdul Razzak Yaqoob, a Pakistani businessman (thus the moniker ‘ARY’). The network caters solely to the Pakistani community. The channel airs via satellite and cable networks, as well as on traditional television and online platforms such as YouTube and ARY ZAP.
PCB Chief Executive, Faisal Hasnain, stated, “We are pleased with the sale of live-streaming rights for Pakistan region for the three ODIs against the West Indies and seven T20Is against England. The latest agreement, which has seen a significant surge from the 2021-22 deal, reflects the value of Pakistan cricket and the earnings from this partnership will be reinvested into cricket.
“I want to congratulate ARY for winning the live-streaming rights and delighted that our partnership, which commenced in 2016 when they won the franchise rights for the HBL Pakistan Super League, continues to grow and get stronger.”
