The French airports operator, Groupe ADP has teamed up with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As part of the collaboration, the brand will serve as the event’s official partner.
The 15,000 athletes, 208 delegations qualified for the Paris 2024 Games, and countless delegation members, reporters, fans, and attendees will all arrive at Paris airports. More than 5,000 Groupe ADP staff members in Paris will cooperate with the airport community to guarantee that the event is successful.
This alliance, motivated by Paris 2024’s desire to be more accessible and responsible, will concentrate on creating airports actual places of life, entertainment, and celebration, ‘vibrating to the rhythm of Paris 2024,’ according to Groupe ADP. The other primary emphasis will be on creating the airport of tomorrow, which will be readily available to all, at the core of a reinventing air industry. Paris 2024 seeks to leave an integrated and enduring legacy for the entire airport community, such as improving the quality of rail-air lines at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport’s CDG 2 train station.
Groupe ADP will be in charge of planning the operational management of routes and luggage, as well as executing efforts to modify its facilities and improve accessibility on its platforms, with a special and renewed focus on individuals with disabilities.
Furthermore, it will also aim to strengthen employee commitment through sports, which has been common since 2022, particularly through the funding of various individual or group sports programmes. Pascal Gentil, a double Olympic bronze medalist in Taekwondo, will lead this mission to promote and share the principles of sport and the Olympics among employees and in the areas.
Augustin de Romanet, Chairman and CEO of Groupe ADP, said, “This partnership is a proud and meaningful alliance: Paris 2024’s call “Let’s open up the Games” resonates with our mission to welcome the world for the universal celebration that are the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. During the summer of 2024, France will be the centre of the world. It is in our airports that the Games will begin and will end for many: everyone will make their first and last memories there.
“This is a magnificent challenge for the entire airport community and for our territories, and a unique opportunity to demonstrate our know-how and commitment to hospitality. Groupe ADP with all its employees, will be there to make Paris 2024 an unforgettable collective success.”
