Paris 2024 announces Danone as official partner

Danone will supply a selection of its products at the esteemed two multi-sport events.

The French multinational food-products corporation, Danone, has teamed up with the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.

In this development, Danone has been named the official partner and will supply a selection of its products at the esteemed two multi-sport events. Athletes, volunteers, guests, media and spectators will get to experience a diverse range of products from the Paris-based corporation.

Commenting on the association, Paris 2024 Chairman Tony Estanguet, said, “Danone and Paris 2024 are natural partners in the quest to build a healthier world through a winning combination of exercise and food.

“Danone’s reputation and the key contribution its dairy and plant-based products make to the daily life of people throughout France will help us promote sports and share the energy generated by the Games even more widely.

“And Danone’s broader commitment to more sustainable, local products will help us meet the challenge of delivering 13 million meals during the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.

“We’re stronger with Danone—and we can’t wait to start working together!”

Danone states that with this partnership, “Paris 2024 is choosing sustainable nutrition” as the company’s brands in France are B Corp certified.

In addition, through this collaboration, Danone aims to motivate individuals to eat more responsibly by encouraging outreach efforts that emphasise on sustainable eating and regular exercise.

Apart from Danone, The Carrefour Group, Accor, Sodexo, Decathlon, Cisco, Orange, and Optic 2000 have also inked a sponsorship deal with Paris 2024.
