The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has announced a new sponsorship contract with Park View City as the official umpire partner for the upcoming season.
PSL announced this deal through an Instagram post that said, “We are pleased to announce Park View City as our Official Umpire Partner!”
Park View City is a project of New Vision Group which is one of Pakistan’s Emerging Developers and Builders. It focuses on implementing a diversified strategy in the sectors of real estate development and construction while providing superior value to its customers through project delivery as turn-key consultants.
New Vision Group has a strong presence in Pakistan, where it develops and manages several prominent residential and commercial projects. The group began operations in 2005 and has since formed strategic alliances and joint venture collaborations with leading regional, local and international companies.
Mr Fareed Bajwa, Director of Sales & Marketing, Park View City, said, “I see this deal very positively. This is our second season with PSL and so far, we’ve also sponsored four T20 series with Pakistan Cricket Board. One thing I’ve observed is that any company that collabs with cricket does really well.”
During the matches, a set of questions will be asked which can be answered by fans on social media and Park View City’s official website. Lucky winners will get a house and other valuable gifts.
Chairman of PCB, Ramiz Raja, commented, “Relatively Park View City are new sponsors and we need new brands to collaborate with Pakistan Super League as, commercially, they come on board with more freshness and excitement.”
Recently, the PSL also signed a new sponsorship contract with the paint manufacturing brand, Brighto Paints.
The seventh season of the PSL is just a few days away as it commences on January 27. The first ten games of the competition will be played in Karachi, while the remaining matches to take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
