Paarl Royals announce BKT Tires as associate sponsor

Paarl Royals will commence their inaugural SA20 season on Tuesday, January 10 against MI Emirates.

The SA20 unit, Paarl Royals have signed a collaboration with the Indian multinational tyre manufacturing company, BKT Tires.

In this development, BKT Tires has joined Paarl Royals as an associate sponsor for the inaugural season of the competition.

The franchise unveiled this association through its social media handles with the caption, “It’s time to grow together in Pink. Welcome, @bkt_tires! đź’—”

The tyre manufacturing baron, BKT Tires, is headquartered in Mumbai and its foundation dates to the 1950s. The company commenced its off-highway tyre business in 1987 and for the past three decades, BKT Tires has focused on its niche – agricultural, construction and industrial as well as earthmoving, port and mining, ATV, and gardening applications. BKT Tires has rich experience in teaming up with renowned cricket teams like Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Punjab Kings (PBKS), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Gujarat Titans (GT).

Ahead of SA20’s first season, Paarl Royals have already fared well on the commercial pitch as the team inked partnerships with Radio KC 107.7FM, Dafabet India and Afrihost

The Paarl-based SA20 team is owned by the Royal Sports Group and will be led by David Miller on the field. The former South African player, JP Duminy has been named the coach with the unit playing its home fixtures at Boland Park. Paarl Royals will commence their inaugural SA20 season on Tuesday, January 10 against MI Cape Town.
