The New York Jets have announced a new multi-year partnership with OUTFRONT Media, naming the out-of-home (OOH) advertising company as the franchise’s exclusive OOH media partner. The collaboration is designed to extend the Jets’ fan engagement strategy beyond MetLife Stadium by leveraging OUTFRONT’s expansive media network across the New York metropolitan area.
Under the agreement, OUTFRONT will utilise its portfolio of digital billboards, transit advertising and premium outdoor media assets to deliver year-round campaigns promoting the Jets across New York City, New Jersey and surrounding commuter markets. The initiative aims to keep supporters connected with the franchise beyond game days while providing greater visibility for ticketing campaigns, community programmes, key events and commercial partners.
The partnership will also create new sponsorship activation opportunities by enabling the Jets and their partners to engage fans throughout their daily journeys. By combining the club’s marketing initiatives with OUTFRONT’s data-driven advertising platform, both organisations aim to deliver more dynamic and targeted campaigns while extending the reach of the franchise beyond traditional stadium advertising.
Stacy Minero, CMXO, OUTFRONT, said, “New York Jets fans are among the most loyal in sports, and their passion doesn’t begin at kickoff or end at the final whistle. This partnership helps brands connect with fans across the entire journey while unlocking faster, more dynamic ways to activate around culture in real time.”
Jeff Fernandez, Jets SVP, Business Development + Ventures, added, “Our fans are at the heart of everything we do, and our partnership with OUTFRONT creates new opportunities to connect with them in meaningful ways, especially as we get back to football. By combining our partners with OUTFRONT’s expansive media platform, we’re helping partners engage audiences throughout the region and creating experiences that extend the excitement of Jets football far beyond gamedays.”
Chris Mallen, OUTFRONT’s Vice President of Sports Marketing & Partnerships, continued, “Together with the New York Jets, we’re helping sponsors show up throughout the entire fan journey, extending their reach beyond the stadium walls and into the moments where culture, community, and fandom come to life. This is the future of sports marketing.”
The agreement comes as sports organisations increasingly invest in year-round engagement strategies that blend physical and digital touchpoints to maximise sponsor value. It also follows OUTFRONT’s growing investment in the sports sector, having recently supported more than 115 advertising campaigns during the FIFA World Cup across the tournament’s 11 U.S. host cities, while expanding its portfolio through partnerships with Formula E and several major event host committees across the United States.
As competition for consumer attention continues to intensify, the partnership highlights the growing role of out-of-home advertising in helping sports properties deliver continuous fan engagement, create premium sponsorship inventory and strengthen commercial returns beyond the live event experience.
