The Indian esports organization, Orangutan Esports has announced a new sponsorship association with the sportswear company, Puma India.
As part of the agreement, the firm will act as the team’s official kit partner. According to the agreement, Orangutan’s athletes will don the official jersey and other exclusive Puma-created merchandise.
This affiliation is the result of a strategic partnership between two businesses with a shared mission to advance the esports industry. In addition, by providing Orangutan’s athletes and supporters with official gear, the partnership enhances their experience while also showcasing Puma in India’s expanding esports scene.
Orangutan also shared a digital film on social media using the hashtag #AlsoAnAthlete to announce this unique connection. The two companies hope to raise awareness of the fact that esports athletes should be given the same respect as other athletes with this campaign. They are equally committed to and passionate about pursuing their goals as any professional athlete, demonstrating the applicability of the hashtag #AlsoAnAthlete throughout the nation’s athletic community.
