Oracle Red Bull Racing, the reigning Formula 1 Constructors’ Champions, has announced a multi-year extension and expansion of its partnership with AT&T, a global leader in telecommunications.
The extended collaboration has further strengthened Red Bull’s data and connectivity capabilities as the team aims to maintain its dominance on the Formula 1 circuit.
AT&T’s cutting-edge network infrastructure and technological expertise will continue to support Oracle Red Bull Racing in its quest for racing excellence. The partnership will focus on providing the team with enhanced connectivity and data management solutions, allowing them to make critical, real-time decisions during races.
One of the most significant aspects of the partnership is AT&T’s advanced network solutions, which serve as the backbone for Red Bull’s data-driven approach to engineering, strategy, and operations. From 2025 onwards, AT&T’s branding will be prominently displayed on the team’s cars, driver and team apparel, sponsor boards, and media backdrops, ensuring strong visibility across the F1 season.
Commenting on the occasion, Christian Horner, CEO & Team Principal, of Oracle Red Bull Racing, said, “Oracle Red Bull Racing highly values AT&T’s contribution to our team and we consider their partnership and expertise in connectivity as mission-critical to our operation at the racetrack. The race begins long before the lights flash on the track, and AT&T is a crucial partner in ensuring we’re ready to win from day one. AT&T’s partnership allows us to transport ever-increasing amounts of data for the comprehensive analyses that lead to more precise decisions in the development of our cars before, during, and after each race.”
Kellyn Kenny, chief marketing & growth officer, AT&T, added, “It has been a pride point for our entire team to provide Oracle Red Bull Racing with the essential connectivity needed before and on race day,” said “Our new, expanded partnership will open up even greater possibility. We will be able to tap into the years of collaboration we’ve had on the technical side, to not only tell deep, meaningful stories but to create new, innovative experiences that will delight and excite fans.”
As part of the expanded deal, AT&T will provide Oracle Red Bull Racing with state-of-the-art telecommunications solutions, including 5G connectivity, IoT devices, and cloud-based services. These innovations are expected to optimize team operations, improve efficiency, and give Red Bull a competitive edge.
This extended partnership highlights the increasing importance of technology in F1, where data and connectivity play a pivotal role in success. By combining Red Bull Racing’s racing expertise with AT&T’s technological innovations, both companies aim to set new standards of performance and innovation in the sport.
Additionally, Oracle Red Bull Racing has strengthened its commercial presence with new partnerships, including EA Sports, Castore, Ansys and Built For Athletes, underscoring the team’s continued growth and success on and off the track.
