Oracle Red Bull Racing has announced a multi-year extension and expansion of its title partnership with Oracle, reinforcing one of Formula 1’s most integrated technology collaborations as the sport prepares for sweeping new regulations in 2026.
The renewed agreement ensures the cloud computing major will remain the team’s title partner, with branding continuing across the car, race suits and team assets. More significantly, the extension deepens the technological backbone of the partnership at a time when Formula 1 is entering one of the most transformative eras in its modern history.
Since Oracle first became title partner in 2022, the team has secured four Drivers’ World Championships and three Constructors’ World Championships, with Max Verstappen at the centre of a dominant competitive cycle. The relationship has evolved beyond traditional sponsorship visibility into a fully embedded technical alliance supporting performance on and off the track.
The expanded agreement positions Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle AI at the core of the team’s 2026 programme, including the debut of Red Bull Ford Powertrains’ next-generation hybrid power unit.
The 2026 regulations will fundamentally reshape how teams generate electrical power, manage energy deployment and optimise efficiency. In response, Red Bull Racing will leverage OCI to run advanced simulations, refine hybrid performance models and process large-scale engineering data. Oracle AI will also underpin the development of an AI-powered strategy agent designed to support race decision-making in real time.
In addition to performance applications, the team will implement Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications across finance, human resources and marketing operations. The objective is to increase productivity, streamline internal processes, reduce costs and enhance both employee workflow and fan engagement capabilities.
Laurent Mekies, CEO and Team Principal, said, “Since Oracle became the Team’s title partner in 2021, the Team has delivered three Drivers’ World Championships, two Constructors’ World Championships and broken many records. Our partnership with Oracle has been hugely successful, and we are delighted that we will continue together into this new era for F1. We rely on Oracle’s invaluable expertise to help us understand and optimise countless variables with greater precision and speed than the competition. With Oracle Cloud and Oracle AI, we can adapt quickly, make smarter decisions, and sustain the level of performance required to win Championships, and we look forward to continued success in this multi-year partnership.”
Clay Magouyrk, CEO, Oracle, added, “Oracle Red Bull Racing relies on Oracle Cloud and Oracle AI to achieve the highest levels of performance and solve some of the most complex, time-critical challenges in the world. The same technologies the Team uses to model strategy, refine its hybrid power unit, and deploy the latest AI innovations trackside are the ones powering transformation for companies across every industry. Whether on the track or in the enterprise, Oracle Cloud and Oracle AI deliver the speed and intelligence needed to win.”
The extension comes as Formula 1, under the stewardship of the Formula One Group, continues its transformation into a data-intensive global sports platform. With financial regulations tightening competitive margins, teams are increasingly investing in advanced analytics, simulation and cloud-based infrastructure to maximise performance gains.
For 2026, Red Bull Racing has also confirmed the extension of its partnership with Visa and the addition of CLEAR to its commercial portfolio, signalling sustained sponsor confidence ahead of the new regulatory cycle.
The 2026 Formula 1 season is set to begin in Melbourne on March 5, marking the start of a new technical era defined by hybrid innovation and energy efficiency.
The extended agreement between the global technology firm and Red Bull Racing reflects a long-term commitment to technological integration, operational excellence and sustained competitiveness at the highest level of global motorsport.
