The feud, which has already been played out in Serie A this season and resulted in one of the games of the season when Milan defeated Inter 3-2, will be displayed on the platform for Australian football fans.
Head of Optus Sport, Howard Rees, commented, “We are delighted to be able to offer more premium football for Optus Sport customers. These two renowned Italian clubs are sure to put on a show and it will be great for our football fans to see silverware being won on Thursday morning.”
Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez, Edin Dzeko, and the rest of the attacking trio will be up against Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao, Brahim Diaz, and the rest of the Rossoneri. The competition will begin on Thursday i.e. January 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, the platform made a huge step in strengthening its relationship with LaLiga in June of last year when it acquired the exclusive Australian streaming rights to the Spanish top division.
The multi-year agreement provides the platform access to an additional 380 live and on-demand LaLiga matches each season, as well as some of the league’s second-tier LaLiga games.
