One Life Studios has inked a deal with SonyLIV as the exclusive and official streaming partner for the third season of Tennis Premier League (TPL). With this signing, the studio gets exclusive global media licensing and syndication rights of the tournament.
The main target of the deal is to give tennis some more exposure than it gets normally in India and through this, both the companies are hoping that some young talents get inspired and get a fruitful opportunity. One Life Studios, SonyLIV and TPL have come together to construct this league to become a success worldwide.
The league’s 20 points team format system is already trending amongst the sports enthusiasts and Sony’s innovative marketing team is playing a big role in making it a big success.
Siddharth Kumar Tewary of OLS, said, “We’ve known the team at TPL for a long time now and their love for the sport and their enthusiasm is infectious. We knew that we were mandated with the task of finding a partner who shared their energy. With Sony LIV’s solidarity and their understanding of varied kinds of entertainment-based portfolios, they truly were the best platform. I’m very glad that we’ve been instrumental in making two like-minded entities come together to fulfil their common goal – entertaining and enriching lives.”
