Odisha FC signs strategic partnership with Brazil’s Avaí Futebol Clube

Odisha Football Club has declared the signing of a strategic football and commercial contract with Avaí Futebol Clube which is from Brazil as a portion of OFC’s Global Football Alliance initiative. This revolutionary partnership scripts the club’s and nation’s first deal with a Brazilian football club.

This significant bond will bring huge profits and opportunities to both the clubs and the countries. The main goal is to develop footballing and commercial relationships in order to have shared gains in their sporting and broader activities.

In this deal, it will further develop Odisha FC’s global presence and focus on upcoming players and business opportunities on the international stage. Avaí Futebol Clube comes from Florianopolis in Santa Catarina, Brazil and is known for a solid academy with players playing for the national side and focusing on youth development.

Odisha FC club President Mr. Raj Athwal said, “We are delighted and proud to announce our partnership with Avaí Futebol Clube – a club with great tradition and history. The association includes sharing technical values, working with basic groupings, training and even the trading of players. This deal will bring in all professionals from Avaí’s technical committee and from the youth categories available for the development of football in Odisha.

The club is recognized by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), with the exposure of talents for the national team, which can help in this development.

The Head coach of Avaí Claudinei Oliveira, who also participated in a video conference with the technical managers of OFC, will help with his knowledge, information and ideas. Claudinei spoke with Francisco “Kiko” Ramírez González, the current coach of Odisha FC, a former expert player, from Spain, about the development of the joint work. The understanding between the two was motivating for the partnership.

The idea is to have a long-term strategic plan getting constructed to help the power of football in joining companies and powerhouses in both continents for the improvement of trade and educational associations.
