The Indian Super League (ISL) club, Odisha FC, has announced a new partnership deal with Dhenkanal District Athletic Association.
In this deal, the sporting body has been named the new technical partner of the club for the ongoing season.
The deal was announced by the ISL club through its official social media platform. The post said, “We are happy to announce that the club has entered into a technical partnership with the Dhenkanal District Athletic Association 🟣⚫️”
Recently, the unit also inked a sponsorship renewal with Russell Roof Tiles. The extension of this sponsorship means the roof tiles brand will remain as the club’s community and kit partner for the ongoing season.
On the field, Odisha FC stunned everyone with their performance against East Bengal FC. The match, which was played on November 18 saw a brilliant comeback. The Kalinga Warriors recorded yet another comeback victory, defeating the Kolkata-based club.
Josep Gombau, the head coach of Odisha FC, took a risk at halftime by introducing four players, and it compensated with three of his four substitutes being associated with the four goals they managed to score in the second half.
Odisha FC emerged from behind to win three of their four matches this season, demonstrating their grit and determination. In this season, Odisha picked up nine points from losing positions, more than any other team.
