Visa Cash App Racing Bulls has announced a multi-year technical partnership with industrial software company Octave, which will join the Formula One team as its asset lifecycle management partner.

The collaboration sees Octave deploy its asset lifecycle management technology across the team’s operations, helping Racing Bulls manage critical equipment and infrastructure used at both its factory facilities and during race weekends across the global calendar.

Formula 1 teams operate in highly complex environments, managing thousands of components, tools and support assets across multiple locations. From manufacturing and engineering facilities to trackside garages, maintaining precise oversight of equipment is essential as teams continuously introduce car upgrades while working within tight operational timelines throughout the season.

Through the partnership, Octave will implement its enterprise asset management platform, Octave Attune, previously known as HxGN EAM. The system is designed to provide a unified view of operational data, enabling the team to track asset availability, monitor equipment health and plan maintenance schedules more efficiently.

By consolidating operational information into a single platform, the technology aims to improve decision-making, reduce disruption and enhance reliability across Racing Bulls’ development and race operations. The system will also help connect factory activities with trackside execution, providing greater visibility over the movement and readiness of parts, tools and equipment as they travel between facilities and race venues.

Mattias Stenberg, Octave’s Chief Executive Officer, said “Formula One is a real-world test of operational excellence. This partnership is about reliability, readiness and execution. By connecting operational data into a single intelligence layer, we help VCARB make better decisions earlier, reduce disruption and perform consistently at the limit.

Alan Permane, team principal at Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, added, “Partnering with Octave is another key step within VCARB’s operations environment. Nowadays, more than ever, Formula One is an extremely competitive and challenging sport, and everything has to run smoothly across the departments during all the operational processes. This new collaboration gives us the confidence that every asset and decision is tuned for performance.”

Racing Bulls operates from its headquarters in Faenza, Italy, while also maintaining technical operations in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, requiring close coordination between engineering, logistics and race operations teams. Octave’s platform will be integrated into the team’s daily workflows to track equipment availability, manage maintenance activities and maintain accurate records across the organisation.

As part of the agreement, Octave branding will appear on the team’s Formula One car, including on the nose and bargeboard area of the VCARB 03.

The partnership is expected to provide a high-performance testing ground for Octave’s technology, demonstrating how asset lifecycle intelligence can support operations in one of the most demanding environments in global sport.

As Formula One continues to evolve into an increasingly technology-driven ecosystem, collaborations such as this highlight the growing role of advanced software platforms not only in car development but also in the operational efficiency that underpins success on track.
