Nottingham Forest have expanded their association with E.ON Next, who will now serve as the principal and front-of-dress partner for Nottingham Forest Netball.
Building on their existing connection with Nottingham Forest FC, this collaboration marks E.ON Next’s joint commitment to supporting Forest’s growth into elite netball, ushering in a vibrant new era for the club and its supporters.
Through this collaboration, E.ON Next will be a driving factor in the team’s growth, offering the resources and platform to assist the development of not just Forest’s top Netball Super League squad, but also the Netball Performance League Pathway and the Community Roots initiative.
As a principal partner, E.ON Next’s logo will be featured on the front of all Forest Netball uniforms, bringing together both companies’ goals of promoting excellence and inclusion in sport. E.ON Next and Nottingham Forest Netball are collaborating to create chances for supporters to interact with the club, promote local talent and encourage the next generation of netball players, all in keeping with Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis’ objective of increasing athletic participation throughout Nottinghamshire.
Paul Bell, COO of Nottingham Forest, said, “We are thrilled to have E.ON Next as a key partner, and we look forward to working closely to make Nottingham Forest Netball a force in the sport. This partnership is a great example of E.ON Next’s forward-thinking approach to supporting women’s sport, and it reflects our shared values of community, ambition, and innovation.”
Scott Somerville, Director of External Affairs at E.ON, said, “Our support for Nottingham Forest Netball is a hugely significant strengthening of our existing partnership with Nottingham Forest and our work in supporting women’s sport. E.ON has a history of being a playmaker in Nottingham, and this new partnership will support our aim to inspire people — be it on the court, pitch or in their daily lives.”
This enhanced cooperation between Nottingham Forest and E.ON Next will promote women’s sports, improve community bonds, and inspire future generations of players and supporters.
