The Indian Super League (ISL) side, NorthEast United FC, has signed an extension with the entertainment company, JA Entertainment.
Following this association, the John Abraham-helmed production entity will continue to be the associate partner of the team for yet another season.
The club unveiled the extension through its social media handles with the caption, “We are glad to welcome back @johnabrahament as our 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿 for the season! 🎬 🙌”
The production company’s current board members and directors consist of John Abraham, Phiroza Abraham and Priya Runchal Deeksha.
The Guwahati-based football club was founded on April 23, 2014, and primarily competes in Indian top-flight football. Ahead of the commencement of the ongoing season, NorthEast United FC also signed a partnership with India’s leading fantasy sports platform, Dream11.
In the previous week, the team also inked a deal with with the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).
The club is off to an undesirable start in ISL 2022/23, as the team played three games so far and lost all of them. The team has occupied the last spot at the moment and will be next seen in action on Sunday, October 30 against Jamshedpur FC.
