NODWIN Gaming, a subsidiary of India’s leading gaming and esports company, Nazara Technologies, has significantly expanded its global reach by acquiring StarLadder, a prominent international esports tournament organizer.
The deal, valued at an initial $5.5 million (INR 46.75 crores), will be a combination of cash and an equity share swap. StarLadder will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of NODWIN Gaming, with its founder, Roman Romantsov, continuing to lead the company and joining NODWIN as a shareholder.
Founded in 2011, StarLadder has become a major player in the esports world, known for hosting high-profile tournaments for popular games like Dota 2, Counter-Strike, and PUBG.
This acquisition is a strategic move by NODWIN Gaming to strengthen its global presence and enhance its capabilities in organizing and producing world-class esports events.
