CazeTV, the Brazilian sports streaming platform run by Casimiro Miguel, has secured domestic media rights with the National Football League (NFL) ahead of the competition’s inaugural game in the region.
The NFL announced that its maiden game in South America, between Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles on September 6 in Sao Paulo, will be broadcast on CazeTV alongside its two other Brazilian partners, free-to-air RedeTV! and sports powerhouse ESPN.
The match, which takes place in Sao Paulo’s Corinthians Arena, will be aired live by all three.
CazeTV, which also encompasses significant athletic competitions such as the UEFA European Championship and the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympics, will broadcast the Packers-Eagles game on YouTube, Twitch, Samsung TV Plus, and Amazon Prime Video, with which it has an arrangement.
In addition to the game, the streaming service will broadcast other NFL 2024 international games (from Germany and the United Kingdom), along with a new NFL-focused show on Sundays during the season.
Aside from these three partners, the game will be accessible worldwide (in both English and Portuguese) on the NFL Game Pass program via the sports streaming giant, DAZN.
Sameer Pabari, NFL’s Managing Director for international media, said, “With more than 35 million Brazilian NFL fans, the monumental reach offered via these innovative partnerships will take our game further — allowing both passionate and new NFL fans of all ages to experience this first-ever NFL game played in their own country.”
