Newcastle United seal multi-year energy drink partnership with Red Bull

In addition to in-stadium branding, Red Bull will provide products to Newcastle United's players, stadium concourses, and the club's fanzone, St. James' STACK.

The Premier League (PL) club, Newcastle United FC (NUFC) have inked a new partnership with the energy drink giant, Red Bull.

As part of the multi-year agreement, the Austrian beverage company has been named Newcastle United’s official energy drink partner, enhancing performance for the men’s and women’s teams.

Red Bull stands to gain global exposure during the Magpies’ games. In addition to in-stadium branding, Red Bull will provide products to players, stadium concourses, and the club’s highly acclaimed fanzone, St. James’ STACK.

Back in May, the brand also forged an association with the EFL Championship team, Leeds United.

Commenting on the deal, Newcastle United’s Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Silverstone, said, “Attracting leading brands to Newcastle United continues to be at the forefront of our exciting commercial growth and Red Bull is a fantastic addition to our partnership family. This partnership with Red Bull recognises the exciting journey that Newcastle United is on, with our ever-growing digital presence and increased international television audience of 62% in the last 12 months.

Red Bull has an unrivalled passion for engaging with sports fans around the world, through culturally relevant partnerships and unique events. The club’s global appeal and strong supporter base will continue to establish Red Bull as a market leader in the UK, USA, Middle East and throughout Europe.”

In recent times, the club has also developed sponsorship deals with Savvy Games Group, BetMGM, JD Sports, and more.

With two victories and a draw, the team has seven points thus far, which puts it in fifth place on the points table. In United’s last game against Tottenham Hotspur FC, Alexander Isak itched the away team with a second-half winner. Overall, the Ange Postecoglou-managed team dominated Newcastle but lost by 2-1. Next up for the North East England-based team is a match against Wolverhampton Wanderers FC on September 15 at 9 PM IST.
