Newcastle United land sponsorship deal with SAUDIA

The agreement was reached as the club is gearing up a warm-weather training camp in Riyadh in December.

The Premier League outfit, Newcastle United have announced a new sponsorship agreement with Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, SAUDIA. As part of the deal, the airline brand is set to become the club’s official tour airline partner.

As part of this agreement, the club will fly to and from Riyadh on a SAUDIA chartered flight to play Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal Football Club as part of the 2022 Diriyah Season. The airline will also launch the partnership’s official digital hub,, allowing enthusiasts to come out on top and win amazing prizes and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Newcastle United, Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Silverstone, said, “Whilst Newcastle United is on an exciting and ambitious journey to grow our global reach and fanbase, we are also very focussed on growing our fan base and following in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Middle East. SAUDIA binds visitors from more than 100 countries to Saudi Arabia via its cutting-edge centre at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah as well as other important terminals throughout the country.
