NENT expand broadcasting rights of Premier League to five more countries

The deal in February 2020 where NENT grabbed the streaming rights in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Nordic Entertainment Group otherwise known as NENT signed a new deal with the English Premier League which sees them expand their broadcasting reach to five more nations that include Netherlands, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The deal spans over a time period of six years i.e- 2022 to 2028 and will be streaming live matches on their Viaplay streaming service. The deal now has seen them expand their coverage rights to over 9 countries showing 380 live matches on their OTT streaming service.

The deal in February 2020 where NENT grabbed the streaming rights in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland were reported to be worth over UK£2 billion. Now have expanded that deal to five more nations, and will span from 2022-2028.

The Viaplay service will be launching on 3rd August in the country of Poland and will be launching in the Netherlands in the first quarter of 2022. NENT has holds the rights of streaming the Bundesliga and the UEFA Europa League in these nations.

The Premier League that is starting from the 14th of August has fans all over the world excited as Manchester City step on the pitch to defend the sought after trophy with the Bundesliga and the Europa league also starting shortly will have the fans excited for yet another season of exciting football.

NENT has chosen the English Premier League as the centrepiece for their global expansion strategy and it will drastically benefit the fans and the company is expanding their business and outreach.
