Neeraj Chopra’s brand value to go beyond INR 330 crore; a 30-40% hike expected following Olympic silver: Reports

As Neeraj Chopra became the first Indian track and field competitor to win medals in two successive Olympic editions, brands rushed to onboard him for endorsements.

Neeraj Chopra, one of the greatest athletes India has ever produced, has been in the headlines before for his amazing on-field exploits; this time, however, the golden boy of India is making waves for an off-field achievement.

According to reports, the two-time Olympic medallist is likely to receive a 30–40 percent boost in his net worth following his success at the Paris 2024.

The 26-year-old’s appeal among businesses and advertisers may increase his brand valuation to about $40 million (₹330 crore), according to reports. Before the Paris Olympics, his brand was valued at approximately $29.6 million.

As Chopra became the first Indian track and field competitor to win medals in two successive Olympic editions, brands rushed to onboard him for endorsements.

In his first competitive event since winning an Olympic silver medal a few days ago, the star Indian javelin player set a season-best throw of 89.49 meters in the Lausanne Diamond League (DL) 2024.

Neeraj Chopra was beaten by Grenada’s Anderson Peters, who won the title in Switzerland with a massive throw of 90.81 m. Julian Weber of Germany finished third with a best throw of 87.08 meters. The best six javelin throwers in the season standings advance to the final in Belgium, set to take place on September 14.

Chopra clinched the DL championship in 2022 and finished second behind Vadlejch in 2023.
